We are proud to welcome, Nicholas Zener Pharm.D., M.S. to our Advisory Board!

Nicholas Zener received his B.A. in Religious Studies and Philosophy from DePauw University in 1996; it was during this time he started studying entheogens and their ritualistic use within certain populations. He completed his master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry in 1999, where he showed a particular fondness for Organic and Medicinal Chemistry. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2007 from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved as a chemist, pharmacy clinician, consultant, teacher, operations manager, and CEO of several companies.

Nick’s professional and personal interests have always, in one way or another, focused or revolved around the interdisciplinary study of ethnopharmacology, natural hallucinogens, their chemistry and ritualistic use throughout the world. I am here because I believe in plant medicine and want to change the medical and public perspective of these gifts through education, advocacy and support for patients who can be served by them.
